1. Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern the use of Prode.io (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service description
Prode.io is an entertainment platform that lets users predict 2026 FIFA World Cup match results, organize themselves in private groups, compare scores and view rankings. The Service is provided as-is, without uninterrupted availability guarantees.
3. Registration and account
- To use the Service you must create an account with truthful data and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your session confidential and for all activity carried out under your account.
- Each person can have a single account. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate rankings or groups is prohibited.
4. Minimum age
The Service is intended exclusively for users over 18 years old. By signing up you state that you are at least that age.
5. Predictions and scoring
- Predictions are submitted before each match starts. Once it kicks off, the match is locked and you cannot change your prediction.
- Points are awarded according to group configuration (exact score, correct result, bracket picks). Default settings are documented in the FAQ.
- Each user is responsible for submitting their predictions on time. Prode.io is not responsible for predictions not submitted due to connection errors, user device failures or any other cause.
6. Groups and buy-ins (important)
Prode.io does not process payments, does not receive money and does not guarantee prize payouts. Groups may include an optional buy-in defined by their admin, but every financial transaction between group members happens off-platform (bank transfers, Mercado Pago, cash or any other means members agree on).
The platform only records, for informational purposes, whether a member is marked as "paid" by the group admin. Prode.io is not a party to those financial arrangements and does not act as intermediary, custodian or guarantor.
As a result, Prode.io is not responsible for payment failures, disputes, fraud or claims between group members. Members are solely responsible for coordinating and executing payments and the delivery of prizes among themselves.
7. User conduct
You may not:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or contrary to morality, good faith or public order.
- Impersonate another person or falsify data.
- Access, interfere with or attempt to access parts of the Service you are not authorized to.
- Carry out reverse engineering, automated scraping or abusive API use.
- Upload offensive, discriminatory, illegal or rights-infringing content (group names, photos, etc.).
8. Intellectual property
The Prode.io name, its logo, design, code and contents are owned by Prode.io or its licensors. Fixture and result data are provided by public sources and are subject to their respective terms. The predictions you submit are yours; by submitting them you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use them within the Service (display them in rankings, compute scores).
9. Availability and modifications
We do what is reasonable to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee continuous availability, absence of errors or specific results. We may modify, suspend or discontinue Service features at any time, with or without notice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Prode.io is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data or any damages arising from:
- Use of, or inability to use, the Service.
- Errors or omissions in match data, results or score computation.
- Disputes or financial breaches between group members.
- Outages, interruptions or losses attributable to infrastructure providers.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms or that affects the integrity of the Service or other users, with or without prior notice. You can close your account at any time from the "Account" section or by writing to contacto@prode.io.
12. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The current version is the one published on this page with the date indicated above. Continued use of the Service after a change implies acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute will be submitted to the ordinary courts seated in the City of Buenos Aires, with the parties waiving any other venue or jurisdiction that may apply.
